Education
Graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015 with a double major in Economics and Cognitive Science. My Cognitive Science degree was an interdisciplinary mind/brain focus that included required mastery of Neuroscience, Philosophy and Psychology. I graduated from Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. in 2010.
Experience
No previous formal tutoring experience, just helping siblings out with homework and sporadic volunteer work. I do, however, have experience working with kids. I worked for four summers as a counselor at a sleep-away camp for elementary to middle school children. My SAT scores were 780, 800 and 760 in reading, math, and writing. My SAT II scores were 760 on Math Level II, 750 on US HIstory, and 770 on Biology M. I scored 5 on AP English Literature and Composition, US History, Calculus BC, and Physics C: Mechanical. In college, my Cog. Psych major required study in Neuro-biology and Philosophy and my Economics major required proficiency with calculus and statistics. I took 6 years of Chinese in high school, so would feel comfortable working with students in beginning to intermediate Chinese.

Hobbies
My greatest passion is travel. I've spent extended time in China and South East Asia immersing myself in foreign culture. When I can't get overseas, I settle for the American wilderness. I've explored the Rockies and Sierras backpacking and try to go camping in the Appalachians as often as I can. At home in DC, I like to bike on road and single track, read as much as I can (fiction, non-fiction, and philosophy mostly), and cook when I can find the time.
