Experience
I love tutoring English language learners and the challenge of finding activities and teaching approaches that make learning English fun and a success for my students. I have experience tutoring students at all levels, including complete beginners, students preparing to take the TOEFL, and professionals and graduate students working to improve their writing, pronunciation, and fluency. I bring an open mind to each new student and tailor tutoring sessions to help students achieve their goals. My specialty is teaching grammar, vocabulary and writing, but I also have experience helping English learners to improve their pronunciation and speaking and listening skills. I work to develop communicative approaches to teaching that actively engage students and challenge them to apply what they are learning to real-life speaking and writing tasks.
