I earned my undergraduate degree in political economy from the University of California - Berkeley. I chose the major because I love to help people. As a college student, I assisted my peers in Mandarin Chinese courses and also tutored the language. While doing this, I got experience putting together lessons and homework, setting goals with parents, establishing teaching methodologies, coming up with activities and resources, and developing connections with students. I also have experience tutoring algebra at an educational center. In this role, I assisted students with homework and helped students prepare for tests. I believe education is a critical component of the quality of life of an individual. I bring enthusiasm, optimism, and determination to my sessions, and my goal is to help students succeed with algebra, calculus, and Mandarin Chinese. When I have free time, I like to sing and dance, read, and hike.
